A few weeks ago, I was very excited to be asked to help out with some stationery for the first Spring Open Day held by the Pavilion McCrae. Situated just back from the McCrae foreshore, when I went to check it out prior to the event to get a feel for what I needed to do, I instantly fell in love with this stunning venue and it’s perfect mix of classic beach look while still looking sophisticated and modern.
The very talented Melina from Regnier Cakes, a fellow member of the Melbourne Wedding Group, had asked me to put together some place cards, menus, lolly bags and buffet tags for the beach themed dessert buffet and bridal table she was putting together. The buffet, which was to be a show piece for the open day, was being styled by the equally talented Renee, from Lottie and Me. With a pallet of blues and white to work with, it was easy to envision how I was going to style the elements needed for the buffet and bridal table. And best of all, I got to put my new white ink printer to use as well. Bonus!
Seeing everything come together on the day was so exciting, I feel so lucky to get to work with some amazingly talented wedding professionals. The buffet was just so sublime, and I may or may not have eaten more than my fair share of ‘Coral’ (white musk sticks) and edible sand while helping set it up! The hanging cake above the bridal table with florals from Poppy Culture was also breath taking, it’s easy to see why they are both so popular within the industry.
It’s always such a joy getting to collaborate with other industry talents, I look forward to the next few projects in the pipeline and sharing photos with you all once they happen! Stay tuned Make sure you also check out my newest lady Alexis, which was inspired by the styling of the day!
